The tournament will be structured similar to the Ryder Cup.

Scoring - There are 18 total available points. The first team to reach at least 9.5 points wins. If the teams tie (9 vs 9) the team that last won the tournament retains the title.

Format - 

• 2 vs 2 Scramble - In this format both players hit tee shots.  The best shot is chosen and then both teammates hit shots from that location until completion of the hole.  The team that wins the match receives one point, and if the teams tie they each get 1/2 point.

• Best Ball (modified) - In the four-ball format, all four players play their own ball. On "odd" numbered holes the team whose player has the lowest score wins the hole. On "even" numbered holes the team who has the lowest combined score wins the hole. Holes can be tied/halved.  The team that wins the match receives one point, and if the teams tie, they each get ½ point.

• Team Scramble - In this format all 4 players hit tee shots.  The best shot is chosen and then everyone hit shots from that location until completion of the hole.  The team should record one score for each hole.

The Bear Trap Texas Hold 'em Tournament 1-point

• Annual Texas hold'em poker tournament hosted by the Bear. $20 buy in, 1 re-buy. Winner gets 1 point for their team towards the cup.

Beer Pong Tournament 1-point

• Double elimination beer pong (the original version) tournament. Pick your own partner.  The Winning team will receive 1 point towards the Cup championship. If the team is split hops & hemp each team will get 1/2 point.
